LOL @ #6!!
At least that was my experience!!!
If you're not staging your listings, shame on you.... Next to pricing them correctly, this is a most important step...
Super reasons but my biggest reason---$$$---always better staged!
Darren - Amen! Can I quote you on that?
Treva - You got it! Thanks for being a proponent of staged homes.
Patsy, thanks for the post. As an ASP, I couldn't agree more about the importance of staging.
Dan & Amy - Thanks. In this day and time, it's crucial.
Patsy, first, in the interest of I'M TIRED TODAY, let me say, I read a few of your posts, and they are GREAT!!!
Where I am, staging has not caught on. It is an uphill battle, fighting not only the sellers, but the agents who know exactly what needs to be done you see. I have found someone relatively close by, and am going to offer, as part of my listing package, a consult with her when they sign the listing with me. Yep, money spent, but good money, probably less than I would have spent on print advertising.
Thanks for the great posts. I will be back! And by the way, you do beautiful work!
Andrea - As they told us in RE class, "RE may be many things, but it is NEVER dull." I have found those words to be true. So I understand your being tired from all the nutty things that go along with this crazy business! Take a nap!
Good for you hooking up with a stager in your area. More and more realtors around here are covering the stager's consultation feel. If provides great bang for your RE buck. Thanks for your kind words! Please join me anytime on the "staging" side.
So funny -- I've been to several houses lately that hired me because of #6 I think!
Margaret - It's people like that who keep us in business!
I love your list. It's a great lighthearted way to get people on board with the concept of Staging. Great idea! :)
Annie - Thanks. Sometimes you've just gotta have a little fun.
I stage my vacant listings. I don't know why you wouldn't. People think their saving money but selling a vacant come with no furnature is probably costing them more.
How are you? I love this list! #1 is my favorite!!
