Attention Atlanta real estate professionals! Do you have a listing that has been on the market for 3 months or longer? Do you think the home would benefit from home staging? If so, have I got a deal for you! The Atlanta Chapter of International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP®) has just launched a contest in which a homeowner whose house has been on the market 3 months or longer and listed with a Real Estate Agent can enter to win a FREE HOME STAGING! The prize package also includes FREE SERVICE FROM OUR CONTEST SPONSORS, plus, once the staging is done, we'll sponsor your open house so you can show off the transformation and attract more buyers. Your clients only have until April 20th to enter, so have them go to www.homestagingcontest.com where they will be able to download the entry form. Please tell them you learned of the contest through Patsy with Stage, Show & SELL, your home staging partner. I hope you will share this information with your clients.
The above photo was taken last Friday at the Atlanta Home Show where our IAHSP® chapter officially kicked off the contest. Yours truly is second from the left.
In the meantime, for those who can't afford to wait to see if they will be the contest winner, please contact me for your immediate home staging needs: 770-843-2307. I leave you with a testimonial from one of my current Realtor clients:
I wanted to thank you for your staging services on my Sandy Springs listing. I listed the property and literally had no showings. Within days of your staging the home we had over 4 showings. With the abundance of foreclosures, one has to stand out. Your staging of my listing has put me over the top
with two offers on my property. Thanks again for giving me the edge in my market place.
Stage, Show & SELL!

Patsy, that is a great idea!!! Wow, wish you were all up here.
Hi Andrea. We've gotta get you a stager up there!
Patsy ~ Sounds like a good idea to get your name out there. Who are the other stagers in your photo?
Hey Maureen. Do you recognize someone? From the left, Laurie Kavanagh, moi, Michelle Yackel and Karen DeRuyter.
Patsy - Is this for vacant homes or occupied homes? Also - are you really able to sponsor open houses? I thought third parties couldn't sponsor open houses. I could very well be wrong though. However, I would definitely check it out.
It's a great idea and I hope you have great success. FYI - I've got something brewing as well. Stay tuned.
Kathy
Hi Kathy - This is for occuppied homes only. The open house will obviously be held in conjunction with the listing agent. Thanks for your well wishes.
Great idea!! Sounds like fun and realtors are going to love this!! How will you determine who wins?
Kim - One (1) winner will be selected from among all entries within Atlanta and surrounding communities. The winner selected will be chosen by the Contest Sponsor through a committee of judges, with some level of subjectivity. All decisions of the judges are final and binding in all respects. Extra consideration will be taken into account for answers provided by the homeowner on the application including but not limited to: special interest perspective, condition of house, amount of projected work, realistic expectations, realistic asking price, location feasibility, before and after potential. IAHSPARC reserves the right to determine the final criteria in order to select the winner. IAHSPARC may choose up to (5) finalists and schedule to visit the finalists' homes to assess the potential for a Staging transformation prior to selecting the contest winner. Finalists will be notified of such visit in advance.
For more details, go to www.homestagingcontest.com. Thanks!
Patsy - What a great idea. I wish that we had a IAHSP close to me - what a great network to have. I hope you keep us posted - I would love to see how it ends up. By the way - do any of the stagers in the association travel to Columbus. I have some contacts there and would love to be able to refer someone to them. It really isn't that far from Atlanta. Please keep me posted.
